Beyond virtualization: What’s next for your datacenter?

20130130_OFFICE_GUYS_TALKING-424.jpgThe tech industry is at a fascinating turning point. The era of virtualization adoption is quickly drawing to a close, with most IT organizations at the end of their journey adopting virtualized environments. What’s next? Vendors and IT organizations alike are shifting their focus into datacenter management and automation, with a long-term view of operating with private and public cloud infrastructure. The result is that IT organizations and vendors are rethinking siloed approaches, on how best to embrace heterogeneous orchestration across environments and within the stack.

Heartbleed OpenSSL: Are your servers still bleeding?

Heart-bleed.PNGRecent research revealed there are more than 300,000 servers still at risk from the Heartbleed OpenSSL. I suspect IT server admins are struggling to manage the process of updating OpenSSL — after all, the last thing a server admin wants to do is place their servers and applications at risk by deploying an update to a large numbers of servers and exposing them to some new, unknown effect.

If you are in this position, there is good news: There is a way that you can deploy the latest version of OpenSSL to your servers, safely, reliably and quickly, using a 30-day free trial!
