The Need for Speed!

Need for speed2.jpgIn today’s IT, speed wins.  However, just like in auto racing, speed can also kill.   When you are moving at the rapid pace expected in cloud service delivery and operations, it is difficult to know the who, what, when, where, why and how of it all. It is especially difficult to keep track of all of the “on the fly” template and image changes that have taken place across your business critical applications between releases?

There are some key questions that need to be answered:

  • Are there sufficient controls in place?
  • How do you prepare for that upcoming compliance audit or operations review?
  • Are the all of business and legal policies being adhered to?
  • Can you create an automated “instruction set” to restore the full application stack back to the approved in order to regain control?

Read on as to why moving at cloud speed doesn’t mean operating out of control.
