HP Cloud is collaborating with the Serpentine Gallery in Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, London to support the 89plus Marathon; 48 hours of speeches, live performances, and live produced works of artists, philosophers, and thinkers born after 1989. As part of the marathon, the Serpentine Gallery is offering a comprehensive digital platform, 89PLUS Clubhouse, using HP Public Cloud allowing people to “digitally” participate in the marathon for the first time.

A press event was held last Friday to promote the new digital offering with panelists from the Serpentine Gallery and HP Cloud. In addition to those present, the discussion was live tweeted with hashtag #ArtofCloud from @HPenterpriseUK and @HPNewsUK).

The 89plus Marathon is one element of the HP and Serpentine collaboration. More to come on the Serpentine’s journey to the cloud guided by HP.

Check out the video below to get a quick idea about the collaboration and what cloud can do for the art world or the full 6 min “documentary” video.
