HP CloudSystem: 451 Research’s opinion

Back in July 2011, 451 Research published an Impact Report highlighting HP CloudSystem as “pushing the envelope forward”.  The report also pointed out that HP CloudSystem provides the “best execution venue supported by single policy-based control pane.”

 

Fast forward a year and a half later…HP CloudSystem has made several enhancements to the portfolio, including extending out-of-the box bursting to HP Cloud Services, Amazon EC2 and Savvis, as well as introducing HP Cloud Maps, prepackaged application templates  designed to respond to new application requests in minutes. 

 

In November, 451 Research has published a new report called Hewlett-Packard’s CloudSystem advances into its second year.  Their take?  “After a year in the market, Hewlett-Packard’s CloudSystem continues to exem­plify the ‘best execution venue’ approach, enabling users to make rational decisions about where they put workloads.”
