HP Cloud hosts OpenStack TripleO developer meet-up

OpenStack community meetup.jpg

This past Monday, HP Cloud kicked off  a mid-cycle developer meet-up for active OpenStack community developers working on the TripleO project. The event was held at the HP offices in Sunnyvale, CA for 1 day and then hosted by joint sponsor Yahoo the next day.

Developer meet-ups offer community members a chance to spend a few days in the same room getting to know each other. During this face-to-face time, members work together on open bugs, new features and code reviews. These meet-ups are common in the OpenStack community and are a significant tool for the individual projects to ensure they meet release deadlines and deliver high quality code.

HP is an active contributor to the OpenStack community. Hosting these  meet-ups is a fantastic opportunity to benefit the community. In addition to direct support of the community for these events, HP employees are leading many OpenStack projects, participating in the OpenStack Foundation, and building enterprise cloud solutions for our customers based on OpenStack.
