HP Discover 2013: HP Autonomy product announcements take center stage

DigitalMarketing_booth_HPDiscover.jpgYesterday, HP Discover 2013 impressed me with the breadth of incredible technology solutions on display. Today, it was all about HP Autonomy’s product announcements.


This morning, I gathered along with a packed crowd to hear Rafiq Mohammadi, General Manager of Marketing Optimization, announce the launch of the HP Autonomy Marketing Cloud – a landmark offering, enabling greater flexibility and agility in marketing optimization.


This is a huge deal. Through this offering, one or more components of the Autonomy Marketing Cloud can instantly be deployed -- allowing marketers to respond more quickly to market changes. Faster response. Smarter campaigns. Greater results.

HP Autonomy also announced the latest release of Autonomy TeamSite, today. The new capabilities and technology integrations for TeamSite 7.4 include:


  • Mobility: extending web experiences to a range of mobile devices through responsive web design capabilities
  • Usability: providing tailored experiences based on various user roles, such as site manager, editor, and creative publisher and managing approvals using the new TeamSite iPad app
  • CRM connector: enabling the capture and movement of leads from an organization's website to its CRM and marketing automation systems
  • eCommerce reference architecture: partnering with two market leading eCommerce platforms – Hybris and Digital River – to deliver a tightly integrated digital experience management and eCommerce platform
  • Email marketing: supporting the creation and delivery of emails to leads, prospects, and customers
  • Rich media management: fully integrating TeamSite with Autonomy MediaBin, our digital asset management solution, to enable transparent browsing, search, transformation and publishing of digital assets
  • Social media connector: enabling marketers to deliver targeted content relevant to social site visitors and tweet or share a new page when they publish it


I had a number of fascinating conversations with marketers and IT specialists from across the globe, about these announcements. It’s exciting news for anyone one who has responsibility for providing superior digital customer experiences and driving top line revenue.


There’s one more day left at HP Discover 2013 and I’m looking forward to what more it will bring.
