Missing firmware upgrades for Secure Web Console J3591A

I'd like to upgrade the firmware on my J3591A Secure Web Consoles. I've seen docs saying that I should be able to find the upgrades at 192.6.167.37/dist/webconsole, but there's nothing there.

Might anybody know where I can find the upgrade? Or might the HP-techs among you re-release them to the public?

Thanks for your time.

Looks like it is here:

ftp://192.6.165.37/dist/webconsole/A2.0/

Hope this helps!

Re: Missing firmware upgrades for Secure Web Console J3591A

You will need these files:

APPLICATION.ROM
BOOTSTRAP.ROM
RESOURCES.ROM
upgrade.cnf

Put them on your own ftp server if needed and update.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: Missing firmware upgrades for Secure Web Console J3591A

Alas, no, it's not at 192.6.165.37. That's the address I meant to put in my original post, but I fat-fingered it. Thank you, though.

Hi,

The bits are indeed at this address. Are you able to access them (not sure from your reply)? Otherwise I can send them to you as I have access,

Marie.

Hi,

Maybe access external to HP was disabled. I will try to attach a zip file with the 4 files here.

Re: Missing firmware upgrades for Secure Web Console J3591A

Hi,

Latest update:
The SWC firmware is no longer available from the 192.6.167.37/dist/webconsole web site.

Firmware A2.0 is now posted on the business support center at this URL:

Re: Missing firmware upgrades for Secure Web Console J3591A

Hi,

in August, I upgraded my SWC from A1.9 to A2.0 firmware and since then I have a lot of problems with the JAVA applets. When I was under A1.9, everything was working fine.

I wanted to find the A1.9 files on the HP FTP server but it cannot be accessed anymore. Is there a place where I can find the A1.9 firmware files or is there a fix for the A2.0 problems?

Thanks in advance,

Stephan
