Mirrordisk/UX for HP-UX 11.23

I have bought Mirrordisk/UX, but when I received it there was no CD/DVD in the package, only the license certificate.

Wherefrom may I get Mirrordisk/UX software?

The software is on your install media.
You need to apply the codeword and install it.

The system will build a new kernel and reboot.

I don't want to buy support. It should be normal to get the software if you buy this. I don't understand why HP doesn't send the software with the certificate.

isn't there an order number on your certificate? Otherwise I would call HP-support and ask for the order number.

If I'm not mistaken, the software on the install media will not appear as available until you enter the codeword.

yes there is an order number on my certificate, but I cannot get a codeword from HP licensing because I have no part number of a suitable CD/DVD.
The part numbers of the CD/DVD's I have don't fit.

it is possible the search the disk for the part number of mirrordisk and this number is not on the disk. The part number of the install media is also not in the list of valid CD part numbers within HP licensing.

The application media should be delivered together with the system. Depending on your contracts you should receive updates.
Usually the software you need is on the first media.

The codeword should have come with the certificate - if not, just request it from:

Well - whomever you got the system from, ask for the Application media.

With no support contract - I don't think you can order them online from the "Software Update Manager".

If the system is new - then you should be able to get the media - as it is in the warranty period...

Either talk to HP Licensing or whomever you got the system from.
