Re: HBA Driver firmware dump

sasmgr has save_dump subcommand.

But given that the driver you are using is almost 4 years old and and many revisions behind, question is whether it makes any sense to spend time analyzing this.

Re: HBA Driver firmware dump

Single occurance of:

Jan 3 15:35:10 some_srv vmunix: SAS driver at 0/2/1/0 (/dev/sasd1) : RAID volume at SAS address 0x0b5cb60b99038153 is in a degraded state.
Jan 3 15:35:10 some_srv vmunix: SAS driver at 0/2/1/0 (/dev/sasd1) : RAID volume at SAS address 0x0b5cb60b99038153 is in a degraded state.
Jan 3 15:35:23 some_srv vmunix: SAS driver at 0/2/1/0 (/dev/sasd1) : Driver fault has occured, a firmware dump will be taken and the HBA will be reset.

Followed by one of two RAID logical drives rebuild.
