HP4345mfp 49.FF81 Service Error

Has anyone been able to resolve 49.FF81 Service Error for HP LaserJet 4345mfp with analog fax unit installed?

error 49 and 79 are the critical error, so see; http://www2.hp.com/bizsupport/Techsupport/Document.jsp?=lang=en&cc=ca&tas
you can find several option to do for fixing, it is for several different printer also 4300.

49.ff81 is usu. a hard drive failure. You can try to initialize it before you replace it. Some reprogramming may be required.

Thank you for replies.
I have two brand new HP4345 mfp printers have have been unsuccessful in getting HP India to replace the faulty hard disk as described in fixes listed in these replies.
Does anyone know how we can bypass HP India (all telephone numbers listed for HP in Australia appear to divert to India). We need to get warranty replacement support in Australia and replace the faulty components in these printers?

No idea how things work down under. You may want to start a new post to that question and you may some answers from people in your country. Try email and chat support options as well. Force the operator you are dealing with to escalate it. You should not have to endure this when the product is in warranty and has faulty components. Also get you distributor or reseller involved.
