HP TRIM 7.3.4 5739 Client vs 22.214.171.12445 Server. MS Office 2010, Win 7, SQL 2008-R2
After the Client upgrade from 126.96.36.19945 to 7.3.4 5739 (staying on "old" server version 7.3.3.) I noticed that the TRIM Add-Ins in MS Outlook is greyed out, however, the linked folder in Outlook were showing as "linked", but no e-mail processing to TRIM was possible.
We tested this on few machines with a different users, the TRIM Client was properly deployed / installed on these machines we tested... Shutdown, restarts do no help at all...
However, when local admin rights user do TRIM repair, it fix the issue
Anyone having same issues and how to overcome it?
Our Upgrade is now on Hold ....Any advices?

We ran into the same problem when we upgraded from Trim 7.3.3 to Trim 7.34. The only solution is to do just what you did: install 7.34 and then run a repair. Running the repair was the only way we could find to fix the problem.

Have you also upgraded the WGS to the same version?

Yes, the solution seems to be:" install 7.34 and then run a repair" - but all packaged in one deployment.
The other option was to before we do the upgrade to TRIM 7.3.4 we must unregister the tsjTiOEx.dll. It from C:\Program Files (x86)\Hewlett-Packard\HP TRIM\tsjTiOEx.dll
Once this has been unregistered we need to delete all registry keys that mention the tsjTiOEx.dll, then ywe can do our upgrade to TRIM 7.3.4.
That seemed a bit complicated so we are trying the initial option to package TRIM Repair task into deployment package
Greg: At the moment we are upgrading the Client first and then 4 days later we do the servers as well
