HP Discover day 3 wrap-up

When every minute of downtime can have severe financial consequences, the strength ofyour applications testing process is central to your business. Our Backstage wrap-up video from day 3 of HP Discover has HP Security Evangelist Rafal Los talking with HP customer Faisal Asif, director of process and assurance at Baker Hughes, a global oilfield services company, about how software testing and security give them a competitive edge.

Baker Hughes was the winner this year of an HP Software Award of Excellence in IT Performance and was recognized for their testing center of excellence. The company’s advanced technology services are used by customers worldwide in the high-stakes fields of deepwater drilling and oil and gas exploration and extraction.

With so much riding on its products, Baker Hughes applications have to perform as expected. The company uses HP Quality Center and HP Performance Center to detect bugs and vulnerabilities early in the production cycle. They also depend on HP for application security and enterprise resiliency. Watch the video for more information, and visit www.hp.com/go/backstage to see more customer interviews.
