HP Discover day 1 wrap-up

Day 1 of HP Discover is over, and in a show this big with so much going on, it can be easy to feel like you can’t keep up. Here’s one way to keep on top of the news coming out of the show: Each day HP Backstage is hosting an end-of-day wrap up, covering the news of the day and offering perspective and analysis from HP’s Backstage bloggers.

The theme for Monday’s wrap-up video was partners, which was fitting for a day that began with the HP Partner Summit. Bloggers HP Software Evangelist Paul Muller and Chief Cloud Technologist Christian Verstraete were joined by Mike Gallagher (senior director of partner marketing at HP) and Jakob Kaad (Accenture), discussing everything from how HP works with partners and helps them maximize opportunites to a specific partnership offering from Accenture combining their IT Operating Model with the HP Executive Scorecard.

Lastly Christian offered his take on the opening keynote by Wired Editor-in-Chief Chris Anderson, which presented ideas both provocative and challenging about the consumerization of IT. (General sessions will be posted online at www.hp.com/go/discoveronline if you’ve missed any of them.)

Be sure to follow HP Backstage for more videos, blogs, feeds and more from HP Discover.
