HP9250c Digital Sender Error

I am getting the following error while trying scan to e-mail document: A file name is required.  I have checked on the sender and under File Name I do have the word Untitled in there so there is a file name.  Even verified the file name on the web interface. I have manually gone in and changed file name but no matter what when I hit "Start" to scan and send document it says A file name is required.  I have restarted, unplugged, cold reset, upgraded firmware and still get the error.  Any ideas on how I can clear this error?  Thanks

Re: HP9250c Digital Sender Error

If you do not have the latest firmware on your digital sender I would upgrade to that first.

If the error persists then it may be that your device is configured to not allow user entry of the file name.  Try to allow the user to imput whatever they like and see if that solves the issue.  If it does, then try resetting the file name to automatically populate with some standard format.  Then try dis-allowing a user to edit the autogenerated file name.

If none of that works try to initial ize your disk (disk init) and a cold reset or finally a partial or full nvram init.

I work for HP.
