I also enabled DNS Domain, enabled WINS domain, and enabled DNS/WINS Name to IP Address Cache.

This only works if Charter business Internet says you can. I.e. they may not want to be a spam relay.

Did they say which port?
Also, do you have outlook or outlook express configured to send mail there? If you can get that working from your PC, you have a better chance from your 9100C.

I set up Outlook with the above listed settings (using both of the SMTP servers), and I can send and receive without any problems. Must just be a setting on the 9100C that it doesn't like.
