Indichrome with transparencies on HP Indigo WS4050, HELP!!!

Hi All,

I'm having serious problems with indichrome spot colours and transparencies/gradients/drop shadows... We do a lot of mock-up marketing material and we have to match Pantones using an Indigo WS4050. Artwork is prepared in Illustrator CS 5.1. A job prints fine in CMYK but the moment indichrome is used the colours behind transparencies and in gradients change. It is a seriuos ball-ache! Tried all the usual, PS levels, flattening blah di blah... As far as I understand it happens in the RIP when transparencies are flattened and rasterised. I know what's wrong but how the hell do I fix it??? Is there a work around for this??? Does ANYBODY have some advice???
