Can I collect CPU, Memory and Network from an Oracle Database using “Oracle Collector”?

I have a question about HP Diagnostics.

Can I collect CPU, Memory and Network from an Oracle Database using “Oracle Collector”?

This is also my question.  Can the agent I mean 'collector' gather the OS metrics (CPU, Memory, Swap, Network, Filesystem) like the agent does for JRE or do we need to depend on SiteScope to do this? HELP!!

This functionality is not available because Oracle doesn't provide it. Remember that the Oracle collector simply does SQL queries against a remote database instance. Since Oracle doesn't populate any sort of host-based metrics (beyond CPU Utilization), there is nothing for the HPD Oracle Collector to retrieve. You'll need to rely on SiteScope or OVO.

Jerry,

Thank you for confirming what I was thinking.

Cheers!
