Zero Downtime with VMware

Hello all,

I am about to use Zero Downtime for our VMware servers. Has any used it? Is it hard to install. I am currently using Dataprotector 7.0.

_Thanks

Re: Zero Downtime with VMware

The idea behind ZDB/IR is to make it very user friendly. Have used it in the past according to the three ZDB manuals and it is working fine.

Sebastian

Re: Zero Downtime with VMware

I am interested in hearing an update on your Zero Downtime implementation for Vmware servers. (Esxi5 ?) Regardless I have very frustrated with poor performance backing up VM's using DP6.20 and now DP7. No one seems to have an answer. What has ZD provided you?

Thanks,

Jim
