omnirpt -report list_sessions -timeframe [start] [finish] -smtp [e-mail address]
omnirpt -report list_sessions -timeframe [start] [finish] -tab -log [path to filename]
omnirpt -report list_sessions -timeframe [start] [finish] -html -log [filename.htm]
omnirpt -report single_session -session [session_id] [same options]
omnirpt -report session_errors -timeframe [start] [finish] [same options]
The 'timeframe' argument can either be relative from when the command is issued, for example
omnirpt -report list_sessions -timeframe 24 24 -smtp [e-mail address]
for anything in the last 24 hours, or as an absolute value
omnirpt -report list_sessions -timeframe 2014.06/01 00:01 2014/06/05 23:59-smtp [e-mail address]
Reporting is also configurable from the Reporting context in the GUI

None of the options are that i need. I need receive by e-mail or generate a file with the content of the backup messages ( like in IDB > Messages ) of a specific session.
I can't find this report in the Reporting module, only the "list of sessions" and the "session errors" but they don't show the all messages from sessions.
Please assign Kudos

If this doesn't do what you want
omnirpt -report single_session -session [session_id] -smtp [e-mail address]
omnirpt -report single_session -session [session_id] -log ]path to log file]
then, there is no option to do what you want

What I do is to run the backup by a program that captures all the output then emails it to me. This has the advantage that when Data Protector removes the session details after a successful copy to tape I still have the information I need.

You can use the End of Session event.
In cell manager, go to Reporting -> Notifications -> Add Notification. In the notification options, select End of Session as the event and Email (SMTP) as the send method.
