SQL 2008 Restore to different server

We are trying to restore several DB to a "test" server .

The destination server has been installed from scratch and we are able to backup DB from it .

The destination server has been configrued with the "default" instance while the production server has a named instance .

When trying to restore we selected the options

- different client

- different instance

Then we tried a restore of the Production DB to it but it istantly fails with the following error

[Normal]

From: RSM@srvbck.int.it ""  Time: 16/10/2013 11:14:02

Restore session 2013/10/16-21 started.

[Normal]

From: RSM@srvbck.int.it ""  Time: 16/10/2013 11:14:02

OB2BAR application on "srvstept.int.it" disconnected.

Re: SQL 2008 Restore to different server

Please check the server 'srvbck.int.it ', open the Task Manager, and get a list of running processes.  This error may occur if a previous OB2BAR process is hung

On the server 'srvbck.int.it', check to see if any of these processes are running

     ob2bar

     vbda

     vrda

or, on the server 'srvbck.int.it', from the MS-DOS prompt, you can just run the command 'tasklist', output to a 'text' file, and attach it to this posting, let me see if I can see anything
