Reset page count on HP LaserJet 2600n

Is there a way to zero or reset the page count on the HP LaserJet 2600n (color laserjet model)?

Thanks.

Re: Reset page count on HP LaserJet 2600n

i'm not certain if there is a control panel menu option for this.but one way to do it ,if you are directly connected via usb and you have the service/support cd rom ,you can go to the library folder on it and find the 2600config.exe file.this is a software utility for resetting page counts and other settings.

Re: Reset page count on HP LaserJet 2600n

Restoring page counts and serial number
A software utility is available on the Service and Support CD-ROM to restore page counts and serial
numbers when the formatter is replaced or when any of the following settings are lost:
â   Color page count
â   Total page count
â   Formatter number
â   Service ID
â   USB serial number
To access the utility on the Service and Support CD-ROM, in the Library folder, double-click the
2600config.exe program. You can run the utility from the CD-ROM or copy it to your computer.
