Radia DSCAN: Trigger Client to Perform DSCAN

Hello,

I would like to use DSCAN to create a new object, on the client, based on information provided in the registry.

I understand the following:

Modify Hardware Scan Instance

HPCA Admin CSDB Editor > Database.PRIMARY.CLIENT.Hardware Scan Configure (RADHWCFG).HW_Scan_Instance

I understand how to modify DSCAN attributes to specify a registry key to query.

I understand how to modify ZCFGOBJ attributes to specify the name of the dynamic scan object.

I do not understand

How to update the client with the above information.

What is the next step? I modify DSCAN and ZCFGOBJ. How do I configure the CSDB Editor to update the client with this information and create a new object based on the specified DSCAN.

Thanks!

Re: Radia DSCAN: Trigger Client to Perform DSCAN

Hi,

Any DSCAN created will be available under ZCONFIG object by default. This could also be changed.

Thanks,

Vinod
