Dump and Runs

Hi, has anyone found a way to have Radia wait until a dump and run(install placed in a folder and kicked off with a cmd file) is done before it moves on to the next install?  We are also looking for a way to delete the source files that are dumped down after the install so it doesn’t eat up hard drive space.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Dump and Runs

If you run it using cmd /c <your_batch> it should wait for execution to finish.

Can you provide an example of what you run?

Re: Dump and Runs

Here's one we are using for the bluecoat proxy software.

For the Service Installation Method    NATIVE cmd.exe /c "C:\Program Files\temp setup\Blue Coat Proxy Client 3.4.4.6\Install.cmd"

Re: Dump and Runs

When using NATIVE you lose return code. I guess that is causing your issue. However, if it is really about Radia not waiting for installation to finish, it could also be related to sth. inside your batch. Did you try an approach without NATIVE?

You could delete source files, if you disable resource file verification. Not sure this is a good idea though.
