CAE 9.0 - Is it possible to configure CAE to send emails?

Dear experts,

In CAE 9.0,  is it possible to configure CAE to send emails when a service is executed? for example, email alerts when there is an application or a patch has been deployed to clients.

any tip will help,

thanks~

Hi,

Not sure about the automated reporting but the HPCA Reporting tab on the console does provide an option to email a link to the reporting view. One can use this option to send an email for viewing the current page.

Re: CAE 9.0 - Is it possible to configure CAE to send emails?

You should be able to create a trigger in the backend database to send an email when some criteria is met.  When HPCA installs a service an AppEvent record is sent to the database so the trigger could be based on AppEvent data. The information in the email would be the same as the database report so it would be more efficient to just look at the reports for Service status rather than getting thousands of emails.
