A. Clay Stephenson presentation on zero unplanned downtime

Back in 2006 (or was it 2005/2007?) A. Clay Stephenson did a presentation at the HP Tech Forum on zero unplanned downtime.

Unfortunately, I never get to attend the HP Tech Forum (maybe in the future... when I pay for it myself).

So, I am now faced with having to provide zero unplanned downtime. I figured A. Clay's presentation would be very useful to me.

Does anyone know how I can get a hold of the presentation?

I did a little bit of Googling, but it appears that it's not available anywhere. :-(

Would A. Clay be willing to share it with the ITRC forums?

Many thanks!

Re: A. Clay Stephenson presentation on zero unplanned downtime

Hello,

If you work at HP, it is available on
intranet as Powerpoint presentation named 1546_Stephenson.ppt.

I am not at liberty to send it to you
without the author's approval.

He wrote a nice document that will pass the
tests of time.

Cheers,

Re: A. Clay Stephenson presentation on zero unplanned downtime

Thanks!

Unfortunately I don't work at HP, so that's why I'm hoping that A. Clay Stephenson will see this thread and give the community permission to see his presentation.

I found out that the presentation was done at the 2005 HP Tech Forum, and was named "Six Years+ in HP-UX with Zero Unplanned Downtime".

A. Clay, please read this! :-)

P.S. I promise that I will order beer & pizza for you! That's the least I can do for you!

Alex...

Just email Clay directly... He has so many articles on the internet, it was easy to find.

Anyway, it is cstephen at chemfirst.com

Good luck...
