Pavilion ZV5000 Keyboard

[ Edited ]

The spacebar on the keyboard of my ZV5000 keyboard has poped off.

I've put it back on, but now, I have to press the space bar in the middle of the bar. If I press it at either end, it does not depress properly.

There are 2 metal bars under the key. The outside, U shaped one looks like it should connect to something to give the entire key stability, but I can't find anywhere to connect it to.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Pavilion ZV5000 Keyboard

Hi Rob,

It is very intricate and difficult process to fit the space bar key back. I would recommend you to take the laptop to an authorised HP service provider or call up HP tech support and setup a repair service.
