Japanese Keyboad

I have e-pc c10 pc that come with Japanse Kayboad (physically). Now I run window me and I found that I can add my Japanse layout.

How can I get my keyboad work correctly as Japanse layout?

 

 

P.S. This trhead has been moevd from Archived Desktops and Workstations Boards > Windows based to Business PCs - Evo, Deskpro, Vectra, Kayak, Brio, e-PC. - Hp Forum moderator

you're looking for an input local.

go to start | settings | control panel | regional options | input locales (or it's localized equivilent) and add the type of japanese keyboard you have.

be aware that japanese is a "two byte" language, and probably won't display properly without running the special localized version of windows.
There have been Innumerable people who have helped me. Of course, I've managed to piss most of them off.
