Any way to leave onboard audio enabled?

IMHO it would be very reasonable if onboard audio could be configured (on/off/auto) in BIOS setup.

Disable and reboot.
If it doesn't work, there is only one solution - Use PCIe x1 Sound card.
It is not PCI card which can't be installed due to ATI HD5750.

PCIe audio is too expensive, I think I'll try a USB solution... Actually a pity, IMHO this qualifies as a BIOS bug.

You need to aktivate internal Sound in BIOS. It's automatically deaktivated if you turn a external Graphiccard with Sound-Chip like the ATI-Cards...

I using a USB sound card when the problem stil same when I swicth to XP.
The problem solved when my friend edit "onboard sound" as "enable" in Bios.
Just googling about this probelm & found this forum, remind me the solution again.
