dc5100 and dc7600 woes

Is anyone else having issues with the dc5100 or dc7600 PC's? We were using dc5000's flawlessly for a long time but with those being discontinued had to switch. We bought large quantities of 5100's and 7600's and none of them work correctly! We have to have them pre-configured with specific screen settings (ie, resolution, theme, screen saver, etc.) and with all of them it randomly changes our settings back to defaults and WILL NOT hold values after rebooting. This is on several DOZEN of each model.

It also has issues with running dual NIC's, installed at the factory - we are forced to disable one, put a static IP on the other, then run Windows Update several times to get the updates to make it work at all.

HP has been nill for support on this. For the thousands (over the last couple years) of new PC's we've bought from them you'd think we'd at least get some level of support.

Unless we can find a resolution on this, we will be forced to switch brands. I would like to find a resolution and keep using these machines of possible.

Anybody else had these issues? Or ideas on how to fix them?
