If you right mouse click the Yellow mark and select update...
It should look for the driver on your PC.
If found, it will update...
It should also look on the internet too.
80% that it will find it though...
let us know how it goes up to that point...

I'm having the same issues with my CD drive. I've tried the firmware and drivers as well, and they don't do anything. Is this maybe a whole-computer issue or is it just the CD drive? Could I put a new CD drive in my computer or is there another way to fix it without me having to void my warranty?

Here is a problem with Windows Vista and 7 If your original driver is corrupted and you unistall the device it will be corrupted when you reboot. What you have to do when you uninstall a device on the page to unistall the device at the bottom left the is a button to check that deletes the driver you need to check that button and let windows delete the driver. You may have to reinstall the driver but if the hardware is OK it should then work.

Hi
I cannot use my CD/DVD device in my computer. When I checked at the device manager, the following information was stated:
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware.
The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39).
Which driver is the best for update and do I have to buy it? I thought the update should be free?

Hi...
I was also facing the same problem .....
My cd/dvdr device was not showing up in My computer....
I checked for it in my device manager...... there i saw the device(TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H653N ATA Device)
did show up in the Device Manager with a "Yellow Exclamation Mark.....
when I tried to use the device it say the driver is corrupt or it is missing......
Then I looked for many solution on internet....and finally found one.....
Just download the software(link proved below) and run it.....it doesn't need any insatllation.....Once you do .... you can see device manager opens up automatically..... just close it ....and restart you computer.....
when computer restarts it will automatically install the device driver and after that , the problem will be fixed....
Download Link: http://drivers.pcpitstop.com/Display/2006/06/Displ
i have also attached the software.....
