Problem with audio driver on Compaq dc7100 Base Model Convertible Minitower

After reinstalling Windows XP SP3 and installing all drivers (chipset - restart - audio - restart) I always get the "Unable to start the device (error 10)" error message for the Audio Device.

 

I've downloaded all the drivers directly from HP product home page (from here).

 

Everything is working but the audio device...

 

Screenshot is unfortunatelly in Czech language.

 

Any help?

HI:

 

1、I suggest you uninstall the audio driver.

 

2、Restart your computer and press F10 to enter BIOS Setup.

 

3、Try to load optimise default settings.If necessary,try to clear CMOS.

 

4、Power-on you computer and reinstall audio driver.

 

If doesn't work,try to update your systemboard BIOS,or is a audio hardware problem!
