POST 102 system board failure

POST 102 system board failure. Deskpro 2000/P133. Is there another solution than replacing the system board?

Re: POST 102 system board failure

About the only thing you can try is to clear the cmos on your unit, and if you have any expansion card try removing them. If this doean't work, you will need to replace the system board. You can clear cmos by removing power from the system; remove the E8 jumper from pins 1 and 2 for 60 seconds; then replace the jumper. Turn the computer on.

Re: POST 102 system board failure

Just wanted to say thanks. I had that same problem with a Deskpro EN, and clearing the CMOS did the trick. You saved my butt.

Thanks,
