Hp dx2300 PCI device & Sound drivers

Hi!

I have formatted my pc (Hp Compaq dx2300 microtower) and I have problems with PCI device.
I have installed all the drivers which are in the side http://tinyurl.com/2xzdvq but it still doesn't regonise it.
I went to path:
Control Panel > System (icon) > hardware (tab) > Device Manager
there is a yellow mark right click it, select Properties, Details tab...
and the sting that i found is PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_27D8&SUBSYS_73361462&REV_01\3&2411E6FE&0&D8

This appears to be the audio driver.

You need to install the chipset driver first. Then install the Universal Audio Architecture and then the Realtek audio driver. All of these are located at the site that you have mentioned in your post.

I would suggest that you reinstall the drivers in this order to see if that solves your problem.

I have been following this forum dudes coz i happen to have a similar prob.I also havea dx2300 that i downgraded to xp but most of the drivers like the pci, ethernet were not installed.I happened to get the vga driver but yet still the application i am running it on-dvr card does not work well coz the pictures are unstable. Now i need to ask u guyz, do i have to uninstall the chipeset and other drivers that i previously installed or do i just overwrite the in the same format or reinstall xp and start installing the drivers afresh?. Please help.

The driver you are looking for is the Realtek 5.10.0.5366. I recently solved this problem after sitting on it for over a year.

I found the driver here:
