HP dx2280 MT Sound Problem

I have a peculiar problem with my HP System. I have installed the latest MS UAA Ver 1.0a and latest version of Realtek High Definition Audio drivers in the order mentioned above. But I am not able to move the volume slider up and down (Which is not highlighted at all) while setting up the MIC recording volume. Can any one provide solution for this problem??

Re: HP dx2280 MT Sound Problem

start > run > sndvol32

The SNDVOL32 icon shows up with the Realtech driver not the UAA.

the UAA driver should be loaded prior to the Realtech driver. But both should be reloaded.

Points?

Points are a way of saying thank you to the person that has helped you with your problem.

Only the question author can assign points to a given response. You will see a dropdown menu of points next to the reply (you must be logged in to see the menu). Select the point value and then click the "submit points" button.

Note that you can rate multiple replies and submit them at one time. That way you can assign more than ten points to any one user for their reply.

Saravanan

You don't have the Mute box checked for the mic do you?

Hope this helps.
