HP DC5700 issue with updating broadcom firmware

[ Edited ]

Model: HP DC5700
OS: Win XP Pro SP2

Trying to patch the a vulnerability listing in the National Cyber Alert System with the broadcom network cards

"Unspecified vulnerability in the Broadcom Integrated NIC Management Firmware 1.x before 1.40.0.0 and 8.x before 8.08 on the HP Small Form Factor and Microtower platforms allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via unknown vectors."

It points me to this HP website to download SP47557.exe

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c02048471

When i attempt to run the update it states:

No Supported NIC found for this operation
error code:16

I installed Broadcom BACS and it shows it has firmware version 5755-v3.17

Does this fall under the firmware versions that affected by the vulnerability?
