Hi, we bought an HP Compaq 6200 Pro SFF I5 DESKTOP (XY111ET) . 10 or 15 seconds after shutdown, it happens that the pc automatically tuns on again.
It is connected to lan but I checked on bios that wake on lan is disabled.
Any suggetion is appreciated...

I have same problem. I replaced MB - no change.

We have one here that does the same thing.  Wake on LAN has been turned off in the BIOS.

PC Model : HP Compaq 6200 Pro SFF



Problem : Auto RESTARTS 10-15 SECONDS Continue.



Check : Ram, HDD, & Mother Board but problem doesn't solved.

Hi all,

 

Does the system still do this after removing the network cable?  Are any USB devices attached?  What BIOS version are you using?

 

I hope we can track down the problem.

Ca anyone tell me if this problem has a permanent solution please. The same problem has only occurred in the last couple of weeks.
