DX2250 Motherboard

Hi,
Our HP DX2250 didn't come with Card Readers.
I am looking to buy some, which are "connected via a header". I was wondering if the motherboard has one of these header connectors on it?

Re: DX2250 Motherboard

I take it you mean connected directly to the MOB.

Re: DX2250 Motherboard

If you have an ASUS MOB (and most HP are made by ASUS), that laink I gave you should work.

Re: DX2250 Motherboard

Did that answer your question?

You would have to have a 9 pin MOB USB connector to use this one.

Else you need to buy an external USB card reader...

POINTS?

Points are way of saying thank you to the person that has helped you with your question.
Only the question author can assign points to a given response. If you submit a question or new topic and another member replies to it, you will see a drop down menu (see attached PIC) of points next to the reply (you must be logged in to see the menu). Select the point value and then click the "submit points" button. Note that you can rate multiple replies and submit them at one time. That way you can assign more than 10 points to an individual. If the thread has been closed, the author must reopen the question to submit the points then close it again.

Re: DX2250 Motherboard

Although, if you look in the dx2250 documentation, there is a spare 9 pin on the MB. On the machines we have with the card reader installed, it is plugged into there.
