CPU Upgrade. Help!

Ok so iwant to upgrade my cpu to dual core but i have no idea what would be compataible... (My current cpu is AMD Athlon 64 3500+ processor 2.20 GHz 512 KB L2 cache 2000 MHz front side bus found here http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en/sm/WF06a/12454-12454-64287-321860-3328896-3253421.html?dnr=1

The list below are processors qualified with the dc5750.  Note that there may be multiple versions of any particular processor that have different connection sockets - the dc5750 uses "Socket AM2" for its processors.

 

Keep in mind, though, that it may be more cost effective, yield much higher performance, and provide you better support and stability to simply buy a new system.  New quad-core AMD systems can be had for $500 or under if you look around.
