Networked HP LaserJet 4000 won't stop printing test pages?

I have a LaserJet 4000 that will not stop printing test pages, all the settings appear to be correct. Nothing appears in the print queue and the only way I can stop them from printing is to shut the machine off, could this possibly be a jet direct error? The printer is networked and there are no other abnormalities currently reported. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Erik,

You could try a cold reset. Hold down the GO button while powering on the printer until it says COLD RESET.

I would remove the JetDirect before you do the cold reset.

If you do this with the JetDirect card in the machine it will reset both the JD and the printer.

I don't think the JD is causing this problem.

Please let us know what happens.

:-) Jay
