Networked Deskjet 712C does not print more than 1 copy

I have a scenario where at a few client sites, I'm finding that the HP Deskjets are not printing more than 1 copy of any document over the network through a Peer to Peer connection.

Scenerio 1: Win 2K workstation on a DOMAIN is trying to print 5 copies of 1 doc to an HP Deskjet R60 using Win 98 local (peer to peer). The print spools fine and prints only 1 out of the 5.

Sceneraio 2: Just like Scenario 1, except it is a Deskjet 712C using Win 98 (peer to peer).

Any ideas as to why I can only print 1 out of 5 (or 10) copies over the network in this config. Inquiring minds want to know (and clients) :)

I am having the same problem. Did you find a fix?

The only workaround I have found is to put the page numbers in the page range field separated by commas to get multiple copies. Example for pages 1-2 printing 3 times enter: 1-2,1-2,1-2 and that seems to work. Seems a bit cumbersome though.
