Driver for HP laserjet 2100 Windows 98

I downloaded a driver from drivers.com but have not been able to install the driver. anyone know what I am doing wrong? I need the printer to operate asp as it is important to my work at home.

Go to Hp driver download at the following.

Get the PCL5E at top should be a follow the bouncing ball from there.
The only good cheap printer is a Pencil. Rest were invented by Salesmen!

This gets it to my desktop the same as before. I still can,t get it to install for the driver. ????

followed the instructions and still no brass ring. It is asking for a file on win98SE disc which I do not have. Also the 2100 is not on the list of hp printers on my computer. Guess it just won,t work.

Hi when you down loaded the file and then run it. It should create files in a directory. That ia were you point the request for the file.

Sometimes if one file is needed from the win98 disc after installing driver you will have to tell it to look in If your CD is D: D:\win98 If you just say D:\ it won't find it

D:\win98

It works
