HP Performance Engineering Best Practices series continues with new book on the Performance Centers of Excellence (CoE). It is the completely NEW book which focuses on best practices on building, operating and staffing the Performance CoE in mature IT organizations.
The book asks important questions: Why CoE? What is CoE? Why performance testing is not enough? It provides answers including mapping of the organization maturity levels, evaluation of possible approaches, assessment of the required steps to build CoE, detailed set of processes and documents accompanying the CoE operation, human resources types and roles to make CoE a success.
The book is available with the ALM PC v11 SP1 installation. Access it from the product documentation library, or from the Help menu. Alternatively, you may download the book from HP Software Self-Service portal at this URL - it is also attached to this post.
