64 MB USB keychain storage device driver for WIN 98???

Hi,

I wonder if you people know a driver download
for this keychain USB for WIN98.

It just plugs and plays in XP but needs a
driver for 98.

On the downloads of HP.com I managed to
find a driver for the same model but with
a 128 MB of storage and it did not work out
for my 64 MB device.

Any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

As I recall, you also have to have WIN98 SE or better to be able to use *any* USB device. There are no drivers for the *original* Win98 distribution.

Re: 64 MB USB keychain storage device driver for WIN 98???

Searching HP's driver pages did not turn up any drivers for Win98. I could only find for Win2000, XP or Win2003 server.

Here is a site that has a download that might work:
http://usbkeydrive.com/download.htm

???

If it works,.. provide some feedback for the other folkz, please.

Let em know. -john

Re: 64 MB USB keychain storage device driver for WIN 98???

well, the keychain model of HP 64 MB,
it writes SN:3326D900332F47 on the device,
also says Product Of China, on the
keychain cover part it writes PN:331465-001.

I wonder if this device is a fake HP as
I cannot find any data on HP site. I only
saw a very similar design with different
SN and with a capacity of 128 MB.

I have downloaded the 98 SE drivers from
the above and they only can work with
their own drivers I suppose.

My search continues. Cheers to everyone
who tried to help. Any more info is
your kindness.
