I am live this week from HP Discover in Barcelona, and so far it has been such an engaging experience.

Let's start with yesterday's mobility customer advisory board session, where we had a number of customers and mobility thought leaders join for the day to address specific challenges and opportunities they are facing with mobile apps.   We looked at how automated mobile testing can be a critical element in successfully deploying mobile apps. We also discussed how we're collectively seeing a shift in the market from device-focused management to application and data focus.   We also discussed the importance of controlling and managing your connections to enterprise systems.

In a world of BYOD and explosive growth of apps, you face challenges and opportunities to succeed in mobile.   Thanks to the great feedback and insight from the CAB, I'm confident that, together we are on track to help our customers succeed in mobile

Tuesday's  keynote was really exciting, where John Hinshaw - HP CIO, talked about how our IT team is creating the new style of IT. He spoke about how they are saving money and making employees more productive with HP technology like HP Moonshot and of course -- HP Anywhere.    He described how his team is managing a BYOD world of over 150k personal devices and how HP Anywhere is the platform that is enabling them their success.

If you haven't tried out HP Anywhere, now's a great time to check it out... just set up an account and give it a quick try.

Also - don't forget that on Wednesday,  I will be sitting down with  Yonatan Taragin, Chief Architect for the Mobile, Social and Analytics group in HP Software and Amit Erental is the Lead Functional Architect for HP Anywhere during a live technical chat.
