HP Anywhere 11 Beta – Come and play in our sandbox!

In many organizations the divide between IT and the business has only grown wider over the past several years.  On one side you have the business which desperately needs to innovate and accelerate their ability to engage and serve customers. On the other side is IT, which often focuses on SLAs, uptime, and keeping costs in check. 9. HP A 11 Desktop 2.png

When this Business-IT divide collides with the mobile revolution and the trend toward consumerization, IT leaders often find themselves forced to play catch up. Their architecture and tools are not ready to deliver a secure, managed enterprise mobility solution that the business demands. We’ve been solving this problem for very large enterprises for some time and we have good news – you can solve the problem too! And the solution will be easier than ever before.

In the past, you’ve had to deal with the complexity of deploying, configuring and maintaining a mobility infrastructure of servers, databases, and supporting infrastructure just to get started.  We’re going to make it super simple and easy for you get started.  How?  With a cloud-based solution designed to simplify the development and deployment of you mobile apps. HP Anywhere will accelerate your ability to offer a secure, managed enterprise mobile solution for your workforce. Now, IT leaders can be ready for the next big mobility project--before the business asks for it!

We’re very excited to invite you to participate in our public beta of HP Anywhere 11, a SaaS-based, cloud-enabled solution to enterprise mobility.

As an enterprise mobile developer, you can have you own HP Anywhere infrastructure to support your apps, users and the connections to their enterprise data. You’ll be able to build apps using the HP Anywhere plug-in to Eclipse or InteliJ or leverage our new web-based Developer Studio which is ideal for getting started with app dev without the hassle of having to deploy anything on the desktop

You’ll be able to use modern mobile technologies like HTML5, JavaScript, Java and NodeJS. You can build apps with responsive design principles and use the javascript frameworks of your choice – such as Sencha Touch, JQuery Mobile, Angular or even Enyo.

If you need to administer and manage your organization’s mobile ecosystem, you will have the power to connect to your Active Directory/LDAP or to manually add and manage users. You will be able to connect HP Anywhere to your enterprise systems with the HP Anywhere Bridge – which offers a secure connection point from the HP Anywhere cloud back to your on-premise data sources.

If you just want to explore the HP Anywhere UI and imagine a future of secured and managed enterprise mobility in a BYOD world, then you can also participate in the beta.  Our platform deploys with a number of pre-built apps so you can explore HP Anywhere and preview some of the solutions that you might need for your enterprise such as room finder, milestones or even the ‘get coffee app’.

Here’s what one of our early beta participants had to say about this innovative new HP Anywhere solution:

“We’ve been using HP Anywhere SaaS for the past 3 months and it’s been a clear step forward.   We don’t have to worry about the complexity of the infrastructure, it’s fast and easy to deploy apps and support our users.”

-       Russ King, Results Positive, HP Anywhere SaaS Beta user
