BYOD: California ruling a wake-up call

California, the land of sun and surf, has just dealt what some are calling a death knell to BYOD plans by way of a legal ruling set down Aug. 12 by the Court of Appeals.

I took an in-depth look at this and how to handle BYOD in an article for InformationWeek. The article takes a look at the ruling and how a strong BYOD policy can help set you up for success.
