An apps catalog to make you feel happy

Recently John Jeremiah, Ziv Tarsi and Mike Jennett, got together on a Google Hangout to chat about challenges faced with mobile application development. About five minutes into the video, they shared their thoughts about:

  • The app catalog of today
  • The catalog of the future
  • Where corporate apps will be in in the future

They define ‘why’ an app access catalog is so important. As John calls it, the HP Access catalog is the democratization of IT, whereby it gives employees a voice to provide feedback about the apps they use. It is a very interesting conversation which is well worth your time I assure you.

The trio also talk about the mobile challenges in today’s marketplace, like issues faced by IT, with such topics as wearable’s and BYOD in the work environment.
