java parameters of the sitescope program need to be adjusted

[ Edited ]

Hello

I have installed Sitescope 11.23 on machine with 8gb RAM.

I have more than 6000 monitors running on it and its working bit slow. i checked in process explorer and it says JAVA XMS is set to 4096. so it means only 4 GB of memory is used and rest is wasted. So can you please tell me how can increase this value so that more memory can be used for Sitescope.

Thanks,

Ashwin

Re: java parameters of the sitescope program need to be adjusted

The rest of the memory is not wasted. OS itself also needs memory to run other processes.

That said, 4GB allocated for SiteScope JVM out of 8GB physical memory on the server is more or less reasonable. You can bump it up a bit, but don't expect that it will magically solve all your SiteScope performance problems.
