Trouble with System Availability Management

Trying to link SiteScope 11 with BAC 8.05.  I try going to admin/system availablity management/ but the option is grayed out.  What do I need to do to activate that option?

Thanks

You need to purchase SAM and receieve an appropriate BAC license key that will enable SAM functionality in your BAC instance.

Re: Trouble with System Availability Management

Was ths option included in version 6.5?  I know we had it then.  Looks like once we completed the upgrade from 6.5 to 8 we lost that functionality...

Anyway to confirm if we still have that option?

Re: Trouble with System Availability Management

SAM (System Availability Management) as a BAC application was added in BAC 7.0.

Re: Trouble with System Availability Management

Is there anyway to get a temp license for this to be able to make sure it will do what I need it to do first?

Thanks

Sure. You have to work with your HP Sales rep to get that temporary license you want.
