Sitescope reporting with SSL enabled

I have an instance of Sitescope v 11.10 which is using SSL.  The behavior I am seeing is that when I click "generate" on a report the window appears and the URL it references is using 8889 but the page eventually times out.

Within the _masterConfig in persistency _httpSecurePort and _httpsActivePort are both set to 8889 and in GeneralDefaultPreferences_ httpSecurePort and _httpsActivePort are set to 8889. In the c:\sitescope\groups\master.config the _httpsActivePort and _httpSecurePort are both set to 8889.

Re: Sitescope reporting with SSL enabled

On Sitescope 11 you should be using 8080, but if you have defined the port to 8889 there shouldn't be any issue, when you got a timeout when you create a report, is related to a huge information to laod by sitescope check the CPU usage of java in sitescope maybe your java process is restarting. in that case tune your server.

Re: Sitescope reporting with SSL enabled

Ramon,

Thanks for the idea.  However, even if I run a report on only one monitor I get the same behavior.  Additionally, if I turn off SSL then reporting works.  It really points to an issue with the classic UI and how it behaves when SSL is involved.

Re: Sitescope reporting with SSL enabled

Can you tell me what portions you need to see?  I would prefer not to post all our internal information.  Below is the portion I think you're looking for

_httpListenerIP=
_httpPort=8888
_httpsActivePort=8889
_httpSecureKeyPassword="removed"
_httpSecureKeystorePassword= "removed"
_httpSecurePort=8889

Re: Sitescope reporting with SSL enabled

For anyone else who has encountered this issue below was the solution for me:

1-      Stop the SiteScope service.

2-      Create a copy for your groups and persistency folder and please paste out of your SiteScope folder.

3-      Go to the SiteScope/groups folder and delete all the .dyn files that you have.

4-      Start the SiteScope service.
